WE DID IT!!!!!!! On 8th June all five Chagford-based riders (and only one change of horse) completed a circuit of Dartmoor (a total of 84.5 miles) in four days. And we have more than tripled our target of £2000.
A HUGE thank you to everyone who has supported us. The fund is open until the end of June so if you would still like to contribute, please go to our donate page.
Please check this site again in a few days for more photos.....

The main aim of the ride is to raise money to support research into breast and testicular cancer. We all know someone who has fought against cancer. While some have benefited from treatment, others have sadly lost the fight. We are dedicating the ride to our friends who have been affected, and hope that by supporting continuing research we can help more cancer sufferers win the battle.
As riders who spend as much time as we can on the moors, we appreciate the life-saving service provided by the Air Ambulance. Did you know that 18% of all Devon Air Ambulance call-outs are horse-related? Or that it costs £2.2 million each year to keep the two helicopters in the air? No funding is received from local or central government or the National Lottery; every single penny is raised by Devon businesses and the local community.
Our route takes us roughly around the perimeter of the moor, travelling anti-clockwise. We leave from The Northmore Arms, Wonson, near Throwleigh on June 5th and travel via Bridestowe, Horndon, Princetown, Bittaford, Holne and Widecombe, arriving home on June 8th.
There are several ways in which you can join in the fun and support us.
